This is the North Pole
- 30 chains. A different setup.
- North Pole has a unique chain arrangement with 30 chains in total. Six sit close around the centre pole, helping to reduce spit-outs. Each set of chains is attached to its own ring, allowing the chains to move freely and independently of one another.
- Nubless basket rim.
- The basket rim has no protrusions – known as “nubs” – that could otherwise affect the disc’s path into or out of the basket.
- Solid construction with 8 and 10 mm steel rods.
- North Pole is built to withstand heavy use. The basket is made from 8 and 10 mm round steel rods, and four of the rods have additional bracing down towards the centre pole. This makes the structure more rigid and gives it a solid, stable feel.
- Galvanised for tough conditions.
- The basket is galvanised to withstand wind, weather and a demanding Nordic climate. The top band is powder-coated for a durable, even finish.

A fairer basket.
After 15 years of disc golf and countless hours of putting practice, we found ourselves agreeing with the best in the sport: the pros. We need a fairer basket.
A basket should catch good putts that hit the centre more reliably. Nubs can push a putt out of the basket or deflect it in. That doesn’t feel fair. So why are they there?
North Pole was built with one main goal: a fairer basket.
And it works.
